Research

  1. Synthesis and study of new azo-reactive dyes for dyeing and printing of substrates (cotton, wool, polyamide).Purification by the use of membrane technology (ultrafiltration).Reuse of effluent water for dyeing.  Study of natural colorants (curcumin, annatto) in dyeing without mordant.
  2. Preparation and study of cosmetic emulsions with different  ingredients such as saffron, annatto,   fresh pomegranate juice, vitamins, essential oils, herbal extracts.  Antioxidant, antimicrobial and UV protection properties.
